Day after Mother's Day

I was just too sad to post yesterday, and too tired. I had to work ALL day on Mother's Day and I wound up with customers staying a good 45 minutes after we closed. They bought a bunch, so that was all right. I bought pizza and cheese sticks for me and the two part-timers that were working.....they are my family too......so that was lunch with 'the family'! We were all so busy, none of us got our breaks and we took turns grabbing a bite and slipping down one or two stair steps to be out of sight so we could gulp down our 'lunch'.
Rob called early in the morn to wish me happy mother's day, then I received greetings from Ruth. Just as I was walking out the door to work, Theresa called and we talked for a while. Lisa called, then Nat and I had to call them back when I got off work. Lisa was working on the pool house to get it ready for Matthew's graduation party, Nat was driving back to PA after being at home in TN for the weekend.
When I got home, in the door was a red rose and a card. I took it from the door so I could unlock the other door and couldn't imagine who would have left this......to much surprise, it was from Ruth and Dakota. Can I tell you how much I love these two!!
It's Monday morning now and Mother's Day is a thing of the past....it was just as I expected, missing my kids. I miss having time with Nat before he became so angry. I've always wished the girls would spend the day with me. Lisa used to say she was spending the day with Hazel because she didn't know how many more Mother's Days she would have......well, none of us know that one, and I don't think she will ever spend the day with me. Oh well. And pretty much the same with Theresa, same tune different verse.
OK.........enough.
Another day to straighten, rearrange and pick up my stuff. Rob is coming over this morning to talk about getting that wall down between the bedrooms so I can have one big scrapbook room. Another shipment from Daisy D's is coming this morning, so I'd better get busy.
One reason for this blog is to post some of my best finds in the scrapbook world.......my newest best find and one that I have ordered from several times already is www.cropchocolate.com.
This site has a "deal" once or twice a day. Each deal ships for $3.99 ... end of story. They ship quickly, have excellent deals, great products and if you order one or three or more, only one shipping charge. I don't know how long that can last, so I'm on the bandwagon while it's moving!! hehe ...... I'm all about a deal and cheap shipping is the deal for me!!
